About Us
Mike and I are both ex-Medical Technologists. Mike retired at 69 from his Medical Company where he was a Clinical Applications Trainer. After a few months as a couch potato I encouraged him to go back to school for something he loved, music. He developed a choral group named Tahoma Voices. You can find more information at www.tahomavoices.org. He enjoys singing and spending time with the members of the choral. |

I had been in Medical Sales for 20 years traveling within 5 Northwestern states. I was tired of corporate politics and the rat race so we took a 4 day get a way to Cannon Beach, Oregon. There was a seafood festival about an hour south so we drove down to participate. We stopped in at one of the towns along the Oregon Coast and walked into a gorgeous art and jewelry gallery. I was amazed at the beauty of the surroundings. I have always loved jewelry and felt the same about the gallery and its design. I told the sales rep. that was helping me, "I would love to have one of these galleries". She informed me that the owners just started to franchise the gallery 2 years ago and then she asked if I would be interested in speaking to the manager about it. My answer was "YES!!" The rest is history. Mike and I presently own the gallery with no ties to the franchise. Our opening day was August 12, 2006. Shorelines is my dream come true. |

Mike still enjoys Tahoma Voices every Wednesday evening and I have left Corporate America to experience beautifully handcrafted art and jewelry on a daily basis. The American Dream......our reality now. |
Why Poulsbo,WA?
|
Poulsbo has a very attractive Scandinavian atmosphere. It's a place that Mike and I always loved to visit for the galleries and the bakeries. We enjoy the quaint little town, it's beautiful port and our surrounding neighbors. We know you will feel the same about Poulsbo and Shorlines Gallery. Thank you for visiting our web site and we're looking forward to meeting you when you stop in to see us at Shorelines Gallery on Front Street. Sincerely, Marie & Mike |
